From Tokyo: Approximately 90 minutes via the Tomei-Atsugi Interchange and the Odawara Atsugi Road through Atami.
From Nagoya: Go from the Tomei-Numazu Interchange to National Route 1 to Mishima. Then from Mishima, go on National Route 136, and from Ohito, then Usami Ohito Road and go through the Kameishi Pass to Usami. From Usami, take National Route 136 to Ito. (Approximately 60 minutes)
When arriving from Gotenba or Hakone and when the seaside roads are busy and jammed, or when you want to view Mt. Fuji, we recommend using Izu Skyline. Izu Skyline is a road that goes through Fuji, Hakone, and Izu National Park as you look out to the Sagami Bay and Mt. Fuji. through the Atami Pass (starting point) to Kurotake, Nirayama Pass, Yamabushi Pass, Kameishi Pass, Hiekawa, and finally to Amagi Kogen (end point), you will have traveled 40.6 km in this sightseeing road over the ridge of the Izu Peninsula.

If using the Shinkansen: From Tokyo to Atami (Shinkansen for approximately 55 minutes). From Atami to Ito, use the JR Ito Line for approximately 22 minutes.
From Nagoya (Shinkansen) to Atami: 1 hour 52 minutes. From Atami to Ito, use the JR Ito Line for approximately 22 minutes.
